Effective starting March 15, 2020
Due to ongoing concerns about coronavirus (COVID-19), we have implemented new appointment restrictions to ensure the health and safety of our patients, their families, and our staff. Effective Sunday, March 15th, the following restrictions apply to all PPV Medical Care appointments.
If you have COVID-19 Symptoms
If you are experiencing the symptoms of COVID-19 (general flu-like symptoms, fever >100.4, respiratory symptoms such as dry cough or shortness of breath) and you have an upcoming appointment, please call your provider to let them know. We will be happy to reschedule you.
We’re asking anyone with these symptoms to avoid visiting our outpatient treatment locations when possible, to reduce the unnecessary COVID-19 exposure to patients, their families, and our staff.
Tips to Prevent the Spread of Virus
- Practice hand washing for a minimum of 20 seconds
- Distance yourself 6 feet from others
- Attempt to remain at home and away from others as much as possible
- Cough into your elbow or wear a mask if feeling symptoms
If you do not have symptoms and are attending an appointment:
Our procedure for signing in has changed. Upon arriving, patients are to sign in on the door with their phone numbers. We will then call you in by groups of two. Masks and gloves will be provided for the duration of the appointment due to the severity of the virus.
Thank you for acknowledging these changes in policy. We will continue to do whatever is in the best interest of both our patients and our staff.
