Initial Appointment Instructions:
- Call Now! The easiest way to get started is to speak with a counselor and get scheduled immediately. Many times we can see you right away!
- Arrive to the clinic at least 15 minutes early to fill out the necessary paperwork
- Bring valid Photo ID
- Bring insurance card (if insured)
- Initial appointments can last up to 2 hours
- Return appointments may be scheduled within the week Appointments consist of 1-on-1 sessions with a counselor and physician to learn more about you and your present situation. After the initial assessment, treatment course is determined and future planning will be made.
- After receiving a prescription, pick up Suboxone at a local pharmacy
Prior to First Dose of Suboxone:
- First-time Suboxone administration should be performed when driving can be avoided for 48-72 hours. Safe environments with immediate access to medical care are recommended.
- Clients must be in moderate withdrawal in order to administer the initiation dose
- Methadone should not be taken within a minimum of 2 days. Doses should be less than 31mg/day for the 7 days leading up to Suboxone administration
- Before taking Suboxone, there should be a minimum opioid-free period of 12 hours (24 hours preferred) prior
